ANDRE ZWANENBURG brings over 24 years’ US and international experience in the hazardous materials industry in commercial operations as well as industrial hygiene. As a trained scientist, he is intimately familiar with the safety, chemistry, and analytical techniques involved in hazardous materials. As a former firefighter he has experience in both hazmat responses and training related to hazmat response. This includes chemical spills, fires, and hazmat clean up oversight. Andre has managed international dangerous goods transportation for Amazon. Andre’s project management experience includes large public facilities such as Sea-Tac airport; various Universities (University of Washington, Western Washington University, Bellevue Community College); small and large public projects (such as South Lake Union Expansion, Columbia Tower abatement project); and work on military bases (such as Joint Base Lewis McCord and Malmstrom Airforce base). His training experience with asbestos, lead, mold safety and HAZWOPER spans over 12 years. Btw, you may have guessed it - he is from Holland but has been in the Pacific Northwest off and on for over two decades.
